The first Hellraiser movie falters a bit for me because it deviates from Barker's novella too much. It's good, but I have a lot of little gripes.

Event Horizon has just always captured my imagination. Being way the hell out there in space, with that creepy gravity engine and a possessed Sam Neil running around? That's scary :)

All great movies. I too agree with Nightmare 3. Yeah, part one is definitely scarier, but 3 is just damn fun. I always loved the idea of dream "superheroes" fighting Freddy. Gotta love the crippled wizard kid in the wheelchair.

And Event Horizon is just damn fantastic. It aces the age test.

Gotta agree with ANOES 3. That was the first one that I saw at the tender age of 8 and even though it scared the piss out of me I have to admit that I was hooked on Freddy ever since.

Re-Animator would be in a Top 10 list for me. Evil Dead 2 is great. Event Horizon is one of those films that doesn't pass the age test with me. It's still a good movie, but I don't appreciate it nearly as much as I used to when I didn't know any better :)

Skinless Julia is awesome, but I prefer the first Hellraiser. I like all of the Elm Street films with the exception of Part 2. Dream Master is still my favorite of the sequels.
