Now that you have a face to go with the voice, I’m Deejay the drunken splatter-cast member. When I’m not in jail or defacing public property I hunker down in my guest bedroom to record A bright and shiny new episode of the splatter cast. I don’t need to talk myself up like the rest of Cast, because if you listen then you know the powers I poses.

I live in Colorado most of the year and work on allot of the music and effects that go into dead lantern productions. When I’m not making “BIG BUCKS” working on the splatter-cast, I moon light as A fed employee for the Department of Energy in high voltage substations. This 4 day a week job gives me time to work on my other great hobbies like drinking and, um, using lots of comma’s or absolutely no comma’s at all. I just turned 26 and have made it to that point in my life were I’m not sure what comes next, you know over the hill, on my way to the grave, the walking dead.

I’m the guy that’s into funny horror films with over the top blood like Dead Alive, and I also have a very special place in my heart for anything with puppets. I think what made movies like Critters, and Gremlins great is the fact that there is a real person behind it, not just some shitty CGI PEACE OF CARP! I also love traditional effects, like blood pumps and handmade body parts.

As far as music goes, I love most good music, and seem to spastically jump between Punk/techno to acoustic/easy listening and alt-country or even the very undefined title of “Indie Rock.” I have a large collection of music equipment gathered from bands I’ve been in over the years and even used to play pop punk with Mat “hates everything” k. He used to be a happy person at one time.

I’m currently getting ready to head out for a fine Saturday thrift store session in Fort Collins with my wonderful girl friend Dani Slaughter (just had to drop the last name cause its so freaking sweet), and hope to score some more junk that I can leave laying all over my house in boxes and corners filling up rooms to the point that they become useless and utterly destroyed.

I will spare you all the likes and dislikes as my taste changes along with my mood. But trust me I’ll know it when I see it.
