Stan Bush actually submitted a remix of this for the first Micheal Bay movie. I’ll think it’s still available for free on his site.
Also this film had the greatest soundtrack ever!

Ditto on the soundtrack, Lee. It’s so good. I could go either way on the Weird Al track, but other than that: Brilliant.
Also, it should go without saying, but the animated movie is far better than the live action films.

Jeff have you ever seen the storyboards from all the Autobot City scenes that got cut out due to time? There’s a few good ones;

A lot of good stuff that they should have kept in the movie. Plus the original ending was Optimus Prime merges with Cyberton and converts it into a giant Transformer to fight Unicron hand to hand. For season 3 he would have been a ghost communicating to the other Autobots kind of like that old guy in Thundercats.

My fav song from the original animated movie was “Instruments of Destruction” by Lion. It’s a combo of it being great Hair Metal, and the fact that it’s the scene where the Autobots first get the shit REALLY kicked out of them by the Decepticons!

Wasn’t Mark Walberg recording this song with John C in Boogie Nights? I think it’s on the BG soundtrack.

Dittos, Mikey. “Instruments of destruction, tools of foul play!” – those lyrics are so great.
Yeah, Yorick, you’re right, they do sing that same song in Boogie Nights. Such a funny/depressing scene. John C. Reilly is the man.

I would have laughed if I saw a big red truck in that scene from Boogie Nights as that song is playing.
