It’s getting ridiculous.
Nobody has gotten a word in edgewise.
MaT said:
that’s because you and Deejay won’t shut up long enough for our guests to speak

And we wouldn’t want to have it any other way. What other show invites guests to only have them sit there, pure gold! The best part, people still want to come on.

Thanks, Wave
My only worry is that we’re getting way too entrenched in our shtick. Listeners who are familiar with our format and our personalities might continue to enjoy it, but is it accessible to new listeners? If a new listener tries out episode #140 or #139, will they want to come back?
I guess it’s all just foolin’ around on the internet so it’s ultimately not that important. I do want to put out a product that I’m proud of, though.
Huge thanks to everyone who continues to listen!

I’m sure they could tone it down and give the people some time to talk, or the people who come on should be familiar with the way the show runs (and is why they want to be on). As far as new listeners that’ll happen since you guys are so friendly with other casts. The problem isn’t the content, its getting your product out there for more people to sample. You have a great set up, you have Deejay and TJ on there as the color guys, not colored; *rimshot*, Mat as the know it all and you Jeff bringing it all together. Then you have Steve and Brady (who? exactly) when they are on add a new voice. There are a ton of bad casts out there and I know from listening and this one keeps me coming back. I know this isn’t an email and you and Mat have said something about not getting email feedback. This counts, I just went off on a tangent b/c of the post. PS If you do happen to read this over a show one time let Deejay know I’m a guy and although I’d be flattered by his advance I’m not on that team. HAHA

No worries guys. I had a great time and if I wasn’t done talking about something I just kept going anyway. As listeners will hear when jeff tries to move on and I say I wasn’t done yet which elicits a OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH from the rest of the cast.
Guesting on another show is always a weird experience. I’ve now done two guest hosting stints on other shows. It’s weird as the other show has their own rhythm and flow that you just have to try and find your way into. Especially in my case where I’m sort of the show runner of our show and then I jump in here and try to push the show runner side of me down so I can just be a participant in your show. But I had a great time and think we had a good discussion that people will enjoy. even with my Skype issues as I get dropped for a little while as Skype won’t connect me. But again great time. Thanks again for having me on.

We have, when we’re lucky, maybe one good show every 2 or 3 months. The rest is just nonsense.
We should be a bi-monthly cast.

Yeah, everyone’s always been super cool and accepting of our shenanigans. So thank you all for that. I’m just reflecting on the overall quality level. We’ve got a couple interesting topics on deck for August, so we’ll see what happens.
