Speaking of which I wish I would have known of the script thing a couple years ago... I had a script for a full length film, but the opening alone was good for a 5 minute short. Basically it was a couple college students hanging out on campus. They hang out, and plays off like a chick flick or something. Then it ends horribly when she heads over to his Frat house, and finds out he's killed his frat brothers as a "gift" to her. It's not really winter based, but could be shifted to that real easily.
