It’s Official: Outpost Doom to Premiere at the Drunken Zombie Film Festival

Now that the Drunken Zombie guys have officially announced it, I can go ahead and officially promote it!
Outpost Doom will make its world premiere at the Drunken Zombie Film Festival in November. If that weren’t cool enough, Deejay, myself, and possibly our movie stars (they are totally movie stars) Steve and Jeremy, will also be road tripping to Peoria to not only party it up with the locals, but to participate in a Q & A session after the screening. And for those of you who can’t make it to the Land of Lincoln and the home of the Eastern Tiger Salamander, worry not! We’ll be taking our plethora of hi-def cameras and documenting the entire journey which will be included on the Outpost Doom DVD, coming early next year. How rad is that? Pretty damn rad.
On behalf of everyone involved in the making of Outpost Doom, we thank and greatly appreciate the opportunity to show our film and humbly prostrate ourselves in front of the Drunken Zombie hosts. We are currently preparing a hecatomb in your honor. We do live in Nebraska, after all. There are plenty of cattle.
In my mind, there is no better place to unleash the $500 awesomeness of Outpost Doom then in Peoria, Illinois. After all, if it don’t play in Peoria, it won’t play anywhere.

I think we probably spent more than $500 on booze during the shoot. Does booze money count toward the budget?

How much money did we spend( ahem, lose to Jeremy) playing Poker every night? We should count that in the budget as well.
Jeff said:
Yeah, he sharked us every time. Strangely enough, I want to play again soon.

Fantastic news! Cant wait to add the DVD to my collection. I guess my signed copy of The Grand Horror could possibly send my kids to college one day.

We are super happy that this came together. Having OUTPOST DOOM premiering at the event makes it even more special for all of us involved. AND there seems to be a lot of podcasts making appearances. Word is the boys from The Obscure 80′s will be there and also a MAYBE attendance by the folks at NOTLP. Should be a great time.
