Horror Fans Against Breast Cancer!
Splattercast #153 will be devoted to Breast Cancer Awareness and I just wanted everybody to know that I’ve made a page here on Deadlantern for it. Visit the link to find out how you can help support our breast cancer awareness special and links to where you can donate (a link to the National Breast Cancer Foundation will be posted on the main page to the right)
As an added bonus, I’ve decided to give everybody who donates (no minimum donation required; just give anything you can whether it be as little as a buck or two or as high as you can afford to go) a free alternate black and white version of Outpost Doom. This will be available to those who donate well before the DVD is released. And those who send in an e-mail or a voicemail for the show will also be guaranteed something special (hint: it involves our long lost zombie project- Codename: ZSF)
So please take some time to check out the page and forward it to anybody who you think might be interested. We’ve already got a couple rad genre personalities who have submitted statements that we’ll read on the show. Let’s kill breast cancer!

I’m not sure whether to be grossly offended or in full support of this episode idea. The jury is still out on this one….

I’m going to try to keep Deejay and Steve tactful. But I ain’t gonna lie…I have no idea what’s gonna happen on this show. It could be a minefield with those guys

Note to plastic surgeons: they’re not supposed to be shaped like that!

According to Mrskin.com, those “stupendous” breasts are real

…and there it goes, the jury has decided. I think this is a terrible idea and I am grossly offended. As the owner of a set of breasts, I am boycotting episode #153.

The show was really great. I was sending out a link to this page which contained the thumbnail of Mrs. Stupendous. Here’s an email we just got from Tracy Coogan:
Dear Jackie,
Thankyou so much for contacting me. I would love to show my support. I am bowling to raise money for breast cancer on the 27th of october for The Busted Foundation, Bowling for Boobies. I will definatly do my best to spread the word but in order for me to promote this cause as it IS a very serious issue I would like to present myself in a very serious manner and I don’t feel that the picture you have chosen presents that.
I appreciate people being creative, sexy and playful when promoting themselves as fundraisers but I’m not sure if nudity plays into that for me. Keep in mind pictures like this, when your raising money for such a serious cause could shed a none legitimate light on the fundraising.
I hope you appreciate my honesty!
I do look forward to hearing from you.
sincerely
Tracy
PS – Deejay should definitely give out more health advice.
