RiffTrax: Drag Me to Hell
December 4th, 2009 by Jackie
Mystery Science Theater may have only covered hordes of bad movies, but MST3K writer Mike Nelson has since expanded on that formula with RiffTrax. Now we have the pleasure of listening to Mike and other (sometimes) great comedy writers riff on popular movies we grew up with and, as in this case, even love. Downloadable audio commentaries are available for around $3 per file. Just sync the file up with the corresponding movie and you’ve got some pretty great laughs ahead. Drag Me to Hell now has it’s chance on the chopping block of Nelson and crew’s comedy commentary. Bill Corbett, writer for MST3K, voice of Crow T. Robot and member of The Film Crew joins Mike Nelson this time around to rip apart Sam Raimi’s latest roller-coaster ride. I can’t vouch for this particular riff being as funny as their romp with The Wicker Man remake (lol), but it’ll surely be worth a few dollars and couple of hours of your time. Grab it here and enjoy!
