  • Just a note about Jacobs Ladder, it is sort of a modern retailing of the Ambrose Bierce classic short story that most everyone has had to read in school called, “An Occurrence at Owl Creek”.

The story was also turned into an award winning french short film which the producers of the classic Twilight Zone bought and aired as an episode of the show.

The bases of the story has a confederate soldier standing on a bridge about to be hung buy the Union army. He is pushed from the bridge but his noose breaks and he ends up in the water. The rest of the story is about his struggles to avoid recapture and making it home to his plantation and his wife. At the last moment, when he reaches his wives arms, the rope around his neck goes taught and everything goes black. His entire escape and journey home has been but a fleeting dream in the moment before death.

The story doesn’t have all of the demons or much of the religious overtones, but the writer of the screenplay has admitted it was one of his primary influences.

  • If you have not heard our Horrophilia since the days of Borp and Mits you really should. We have 3 other host, plus guest host that show up every once in awhile. If you are judging us by that old show then you are in for a surprise. We are much better and improved. We all bring something different to the show. As of now we have stolen 40 of your fans, the first step toward total domination.
