Another time-waster link for you: Cracked.com’s 6 Baffling Mistakes Every Horror Franchise Must Make. I must admit, I unironically like at least half of the movies they lampoon in this piece.

But…Jason Takes Manhattan is AWESOME. It’s so hilariously 80s right down to the cheesy self-made music video and thugs…
Yea, and the Halloween 6 reveal about the druid bullshit is just that: BULLSHIT. One of the scary things about Michael Meyers was the unanswered WHY. Why he killed his older sister, how he was able to have his long ass killing spree, get up from being shot…it was scarier to NOT know.
Jason goes to Hell…well, yea. That movie is a tad terrible, there’s no way around it.

I love Hellraiser IV. I’ve always looked at it as a prequel to Event Horizon. At the end of the Hellraiser film, the giant lament-configuration space ship folds up and disappears in space. I’ve always felt that the Event Horizon ship’s experiment in faster than light travel took them through this section of space and the gravity drive briefly opened up the gate to hell as it passed through.

I like Bloodline a lot. Not going to apologize for that, either.
