Wow – you nailed Ray Milland. I agree completely. Give me Richard Widmark, or Jack Palance, or Lloyd Nolan, or Darrin McGavin (don’t laugh – watch him as Mike Hammer in the 1950s!!!) or … or freaking Mike Mazurki even has more affect that Ray Milland.
I guess he was kind of the Ben Affleck of his era….
