Mortal Kombat

I wasn’t planning on getting Mortal Kombat but while at the store yesterday I was all “F*ck it.”

I’ve never been a huge MK fan, nor a fan of fighters in general because I suck pretty bad at them. But I’ve got money to burn and I justify it by saying “I love my country and want to support its economy.” So anyways, now 3 of the 4 Splattercast hosts own MK (Steve, Jeff, and myself). We’ll be ripping each others spines out this weekend, probably starting tonight. So if any of you listeners have the game and have always wanted to kick my ass…well, now you can! :)

XBOX gamertags.

Do you have 13 minutes to spare? Do you like killer robots? No problem.

Um….

I was gonna do a blog post, but I have nothing to say.

Writer’s block.

The X-Files Lexicon

As you all know, one of the rad podcasts on Dead Lantern is The Explodey Files, a weekly podcast whose goal is to cover every episode of The X-Files.

But we’re not the only X-Philes out there! If you love the show as much as we do, head over to The X-Files Lexicon, a website devoted to every aspect of the show. From their site:

Welcome to The X-Files Lexicon, an exhaustive reference based guide to the Fox television show. Here you’ll find extensive episode guides, an accessible historical timeline, character dossiers, and a paranormal omnibus featuring original articles on paranormal topics. The Lexicon also features exclusive articles and interviews as well as an active forum.

Even better, we just might collaborate on some stuff in the future if we’ve got the time. So give the site a look and be sure to listen each and every week to The Explodey Files!

Splattercast #225

FZR & Ronin from The Sleepycast join us to talk about them ornery graboids.

And super thanks to Julie of 19 Nocturne Boulevard who let us do some voice work for When the Lamp Goes Out, a short audio sketch. Be sure to listen to it at the end of this weeks show! Or, you can download it directly from Julie’s site right here.
