It! The Terror From Beyond Space (1958) d. Edward L. Cahn.

Fun fact: Director Ed Cahn also did several other horror films in the 1950’s and was fairly prolific within the horror/sci-fi genres. His flicks include such b-movie fare as The She-Creature (1956),  Zombies of Mora Tau (1957), and Invasion of the Saucer Men (1957), among others. Oddly, his most important work within the genre came in 1928, as editor of Paul Leni’s The Man Who Laughs.

The Frozen Dead (1966) d. Herbert J. Leder

fun fact: Director Herbert Leder is probably most known to cult horror fans for writing 1958’s Fiend Without a Face. He also wrote and directed 1966’s It! starring Roddy McDowall and Jill Haworth (who is great in Tower of Evil from 1972). Leder’s contribution to horror is minor, but worth bringing attention to.
