We here at Dead Lantern and the Splattercast haven’t always dabbled in the darker arts of filmmaking, blogging, and podcasting. No, sir. We used to play in bands. Attempting to explain the history of those bands is better suited to someone with far more time and patience than I have. As you can tell, we were shitty pop punk. If you aren’t repulsed, there may be more goodies where this came from…

The video is taken from a live performance at the UNL radio station where Jeff’s wife Tina (who you heard on the latest Splattercast) was the disc jockey…or something This is footage taken by some local videographer doing a public access show called “Freakout” that aired on February 8th, 2001.

That obnoxious guy with hair (believe it or not) playing guitar is Deejay. The striking fellow playing the bass is Spooky McPhee. The strapping lad doing backup vocals is Braden. The geek playing the drums is I.
