Even though TJ is on a leave of absence from the Splattercast, we still consider him part of our amazing, incredible, awesome, fantasticly fabulous crew. Of course, he has a website located at AvantTrash.com, but now he’s started the Avant Trash Clothing Company. He has his first few designs up but keep an eye on his Etsy page for more forthcoming designs. Also, if you enjoy em, like his Facebook page to keep up to date.
I often mention that I like to play Magic: The Gathering, and I recently had the opportunity to appear on an MTG podcast; it was a lot of fun for me. Thanks to Tangent and the gang at Mana Screwed for having me on. Check out the episode here.
As you all know, one of the rad podcasts on Dead Lantern is The Explodey Files, a weekly podcast whose goal is to cover every episode of The X-Files.
But we’re not the only X-Philes out there! If you love the show as much as we do, head over to The X-Files Lexicon, a website devoted to every aspect of the show. From their site:
Welcome to The X-Files Lexicon, an exhaustive reference based guide to the Fox television show. Here you’ll find extensive episode guides, an accessible historical timeline, character dossiers, and a paranormal omnibus featuring original articles on paranormal topics. The Lexicon also features exclusive articles and interviews as well as an active forum.
Even better, we just might collaborate on some stuff in the future if we’ve got the time. So give the site a look and be sure to listen each and every week to The Explodey Files!
FZR & Ronin from The Sleepycast join us to talk about them ornery graboids.
And super thanks to Julie of 19 Nocturne Boulevard who let us do some voice work for When the Lamp Goes Out, a short audio sketch. Be sure to listen to it at the end of this weeks show! Or, you can download it directly from Julie’s site right here.
Got an e-mail from a listener/reader in Canada named Ian linking us to a zombie inspired short film he and his crew have worked on called Crawlspace. We’re always more than happy to plug our listeners stuff so take a look and give Ian some feedback if you have time!
Hat-tip to geeky in the IRC for the vid link. I’m no sports expert, not by a long shot, but I do enjoy it on a baseline. We’ve heard from lots of friends, though, who seem to be downright hostile toward sports. This video will give those folks some pointers on enjoying the big game this Sunday.
Here are a handful of images from last weekend’s Saw-a-thon. Nothing too dramatic in these photos, just a group of people who made some poor time management choices. Stay tuned for the resulting podcast in a week or so!
