Jim Wynorski is still going strong, making tons of low-budget shlockers. When not making masterpieces like Komodo vs. Cobra, he moonlights as a prolific soft-core director with stuff like The Bare Wench Project. It would be nice if he got back to doing stuff like Chopping Mall. There’s only so many gross silicon scars I can take…

Beatniks at their bawdiest, indeed. This is one of my favorite Corman films and one of his most underrated. Yes, that’s Dick Miller in the lead role.
