 Re: Interesting Horror Links Thread
I thought the non-Cory Feldman Frog brother was like a head vampire or some crap. Or does this not recognize Lost Boys 2?

I'm sure he can sucker in some financial backers just by loosely tying his film into John Carpenter's classic.

I'm interested to see how the technology works, but I think they made a mistake by going with the Scream like mask instead of the image of a skull. The skull is a more universal image of horror and doesn't provoke the chuckles now associated with the Scream ghost-face thanks to the Scary Movie franchise. I wonder if Rue Morgue might give this a try...or perhaps Playboy. Here is the magazines web site http://www.bbcfocusmagazine.com/

 Re: Interesting Horror Links Thread
Yea, Mat, if you attend, I'll swing buy, say howdy and buy some swag. Just make sure you get those Deadlantern/Splattercast T-shirts printed, and get some lovely booth babes to model them. It's a great way of raising money for that next project.

 Re: Interesting Horror Links Thread
If you have never read THE WALKING DEAD comic, you are missing out on a great story. What makes the series so damn good is that it focuses on what makes all really good zombie stories so interesting. No, not the zombies, but the characters that are trapped in this horrible situation. AMC has posted the first of it's motion comic adaptations of the first issue and it's pretty darn sweet. Yea, the first issue might use a contrivance that mirrors 28 days latter, but don't let that get in the way of enjoying a comic series that has actually managed to make me cry. http://www.amctv.com/originals/The-Walking-Dead/video?bcpid=86227333001&bclid=88963904001&bctid=167654562001

 Re: Interesting Horror Links Thread
http://thewardmovie.com/Official site for John Carpenter's THE WARD. This has some kind of 'fog' effect that may be the most annoying thing I've ever seen on a website.

 Re: Interesting Horror Links Thread
Just noticed that you can direct the fog with your cursor so you can read through the "hole". But you're right, kinda annoying. Especially if your family has a history of cataracts.

It's telling that major, influential, big time directors are embracing 3D.

 Re: Interesting Horror Links Thread
http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=343580&title=spoiler-alert-human-centipedeI used to hate Daniel Tosh, then I saw one of his full-length stand-up specials and realized I had mistakenly lumped him into the Dane Cook camp of comedians. Here, he gives an in-depth synopsis of The Human Centipede. It's not that funny, but it is amusing.
