At over 2.5 hours, this might officially be the longest Splattercast ever. With special co-host Vaughn of Motion Picture Massacre, we cover almost every horror film made by British director Pete Walker. These films were totally new to us and it made for a really interesting show. Films we take a look at: Die Screaming, Marianne (1971), The Flesh and Blood Show (1972), House of Whipcord (1974), Frightmare (1974), House of Mortal Sin (1976), Schizo (1976), and House of Long Shadows (1983).

We also discuss the recently completed Outpost Doom and give some updates on when you’ll be able to see it.

We let our resident southern dandy, Steve, choose the movies for this episode and he took a fat crap all over us with such choices as Monsturd and Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus. On the plus side, he also chose to revisit a pair of fun flicks from 1986, Deadly Friend and Chopping Mall. It's a long episode, but stick with it to the end for a great voicemail from The Hett.

This episode is massive. 2.5 hours of huge. The first hour is a sober replay of our travels and experiences we recorded last night. The rest is a megaton of interviews we did with various filmmakers at the DZFF as well as three separate discussions we had with the Drunken Zombie guys. I should point out right away that the final segment was the original Splattercast 156 that we recorded at the festival itself and which included Dave and Wes. However, Deejay is so drunk and obnoxious that it's almost unlistenable. We also eviscerate Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated, but stick around to the end of the show to hear Dave and Wes of Drunken Zombie defend the flick.

This week, Steve and I suffer through an extended review of 666 Demon Child, the film that was the inspiration for The Grand Horror. The rest of the show is devoted to reminiscing about Outpost Doom as we get ready to trek to Peoria for our world premiere at the Drunken Zombie Film Festival this Saturday.
