The Grand Horror DVD

Update: Deejay has seen fit to finance a 2nd run of The Grand Horror on DVD. Now you have another chance to buy our shitty movie! Come on, it’s only $10.00, shipping included. All of the other kids are doing it and you don’t want to be left out!

Deejay will be administering this round of DVD sales. I’m sure he will handle all orders in a prompt and professional manner. Please be sure to direct your hate mail and complaints order inquiries to Deejay and not to me :)

Thank you!
Jeff

It doesn’t get any indier than this, folks. We’ve produced a very small run of The Grand Horror on DVD and the discs look awesome. Honestly, they look so great that people are going to be fooled into believing that we’re legitimate filmmakers! Until they actually watch the movie, that is…

If you’ve ever listened to our weekly horror podcast, The Splattercast, then you know that we pull no punches when reviewing horror movies, and that includes the indies. Now with the public release of The Grand Horror on DVD we’re putting ourselves out there for the same treatment. Let’s be clear: The Grand Horror is not a good movie. This movie was put together by a group of friends with basically no money and no idea how to properly make a movie. If this exact same movie had been made by someone else and we were reviewing it on the Splattercast, I shudder to think what horrible things we would say about it.

But it’s our movie, and we love it. We hope you guys get a kick out of it, too.

Special Features included on the disc…
Two Commentary Tracks with the Cast and Filmmakers
Featurette: The Grand Horror - Behind the Scenes
Featurette: The Grand Horror Premiere in Grand Island, Nebraska
Featurette: “T.J. Gets Punched in the Face”
Short Film: “I’m Not Going Out There…”

“For being such a low-budget indie horror film, The Grand Horror is a shining example of what can be accomplished with talent, hard work, and a genuine love of the genre
- Dread Central

For a flick with a budget the size of my daily crack habit, completely ad-libbed dialogue, and a cast of lily white unknowns, The Grand Horror is a smashing success. Kister and crew have crafted a truly engaging ghost story that actually manages to put the oh-so tired “zombie apocalypse” scenario to good use.”
- The Film Fiend

“It’s part Night of the Living Dead, part Demons and a little bit of The Shining.”
- Arrow in the Head
